| About MVHRA | ||||
The Mississippi Valley Human Resource Association (MVHRA) belongs to a network of over 450 professional chapters and 300 student chapters. There are currently 50 members in our local chapter. The Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) was started in 1948 when a group of professionals dedicated to the advancement of the human resource profession formed the American Society for Personnel Administration (ASPA), now known as the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM). It is a non-profit, individual membership association for human resource professionals, representing the interests of more than 115,000 professional and student members from around the world. |
