Welcome to Mississippi Valley Human Resource Association, a SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) affiliated chapter. Formerly known as Mississippi Valley Personnel Association and the Keokuk Personnel Forum, MVHRA became affiliated with SHRM on September 10, 1976. MVHRA membership is open to all individuals with an interest in Human Resources. Our membership covers the southeastern portion of Iowa and western portion of Illinois.

The goal of MVHRA is to provide educational and networking opportunities for both members and non-members in the human resource field. We encourage HR professionals to consider the advantages of becoming SHRM members and challenge HR professionals to take advantage of the opportunities provided by both MVHRA and SHRM. In partnership with Southeastern Community College, we encourage professional certification in the field of Human Resources.

Monthly meetings are generally held on the last Tuesday of the month, from 11:30 to 1:00 PM at Southeastern Community College in Dining Room A. Reservations are requested and lunch is provided for $5.00 each. The upcoming meeting schedule is posted on the Meetings page.
